Sericka McGee, PharmD is a clinical pharmacist specializing in multiple sclerosis (MS) and complex chronic disease management. With experience spanning long-term care, community pharmacy, and health plan environments, Dr. McGee brings a unique ability to bridge the gap between provider and payer systems. Her work supports neurology practices by facilitating DMT initiation and transitions, streamlining prior authorizations, monitoring labs and adherence, and proactively resolving medication-related barriers—allowing providers to focus more on patient care and less on administrative burden.

Dr. McGee's commitment to MS care is deeply personal. She grew up caring for her mother, who lived with progressive MS and witnessed firsthand the progression of the disease—from mobility with a walker, to wheelchair use, to full immobility.

Navigating a complex healthcare system with limited resources and Medicaid coverage, her family faced the difficult realities many patients endure.

Ultimately, they made the heartbreaking decision to place her mother in a nursing facility so she and her sister could pursue higher education—an experience that profoundly shaped her understanding of care gaps, access challenges, and the emotional toll of MS.

With multiple family members affected by MS, Dr. McGee’s lived experience fuels her passion for advocacy, patient education, and improving clinical outcomes. It is the foundation of her unwavering commitment to ensuring patients receive timely, safe, and effective therapy—along with the support they deserve.
